Our Bespoke Perfume Development Programme is designed for corporate clients, fashion houses, hotels, and luxury groups seeking to commission a fragrance that embodies their brand at every note.
Each perfume is composed from the ground up by our in-house perfumers, combining chemistry, creativity, and compliance within a fully regulated GMP environment.
From haute couture launches to hotel signature scents and corporate gifting collections, SKD Pharmaceuticals transforms creative direction into fine fragrance reality — built for scalability, confidentiality, and international retail readiness.
How the Process Works
1️⃣ Consultation & Creative Brief – Share your brand story, inspiration, and desired scent direction.
2️⃣ Concept Development – Our perfumers design your ideas into fragrance accords and initial prototypes.
3️⃣ Feedback & Refinement – You test, review, and approve the direction before we finalise your unique formula.
4️⃣ Testing & Documentation – Full IFRA conformity, SDS documentation, and optional PIF dossiers are completed for compliance.
5️⃣ Final Approval & Scale-Up – Once approved, your fragrance can move into production, bottling, and packaging (quoted separately based on design and volume).

Pricing & Timelines
- Development Fee: from £2,000 (covers formulation, consultation, prototyping, and testing)
- Lead Time: approximately 6–20 weeks, depending on complexity and revisions
- Minimum Order Quantity (after approval): 1 litre (≈ 33 × 30 ml, 20 × 50 ml, or 10 × 100 ml)
- Packaging & Production: quoted separately once your fragrance is finalised
💡 The development fee covers formulation and testing only. Packaging, bottling, and labelling are priced separately after your scent and branding details are confirmed.
Formula Ownership & Brand Exclusivity
All bespoke fragrances developed by SKD Pharmaceuticals are created exclusively for the commissioning client.
Your scent will never be duplicated or supplied to another brand, ensuring complete market exclusivity.
By default, the fragrance remains the intellectual property of SKD Pharmaceuticals, licensed to you for unlimited use and production through our facilities.
For clients who require full intellectual ownership, including complete formulation data, ingredient ratios and analytical documentation, a Formula Buy-Out Agreement can be arranged for a one-off fee.
This ensures flexibility for every client – from boutique start-ups to established global brands – while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality, craftsmanship, and trust.
